It’s been a tough month at this end but I will not be beaten. I’m spending my time driving multi drop delivery vans to keep the finances flowing and to keep Iron Man Records from collapse. In the words of Sun Ra “The world needs creators right now.”

A big thank you to all Iron Man Records Patrons who continue to put money down, and support the cause. I’m pleased to report that more progress has been made despite the harsh financial situation. The new rehearsal space is finished and the recording studio will be ready at the end of this week. There’s always a few last things to, like clearing tools and ladders and other left overs from the building work, but the rehearsal space and recording studio are now functional. The Wi-Fi works great too.
I picked up a new bass amp from Bristol to replace Simon’s old one that blew up a while back, and I found a new guitar cab from Leicester. There’s new multi plug extensions, new fuses and new speaker cables. Clive from Cain has even cleaned all the old cobwebs from the girder across the ceiling. Wonders never cease.
The last of the left over building materials have all gone to the recycling place, the rubbish has gone in the bins outside, and the place is clean and tidy. The last load of recording equipment, mics, leads and so on will arrive on wednesday for…
